CChHeErRyYlL’’sS bBAaBbYy J jOoYy! ! Relationships in the showbiz industry can always surprise us but in December 2015, no one could have guessed who the next A-list couple would be. With rumours of the pair flirting at The X Factor final in 2015 and a number of photos linking the couple together, it wasn’t until March 2016 that Cheryl and Liam Payne finally announced their relationship. In the months that followed, they were seen out and about looking like any other happy celebrity couple. However on 9th May Liam and Cheryl had their first red carpet moment together at the Global Gift Gala in Paris and rumours began to circulate as to whether Cheryl was pregnant or not after people noticed a tiny bump. Even though Cheryl or Liam never confirmed their pregnancy, since May 2016 the brunette beauty has often appeared in public with a growing stomach. Then, at the end of February Cheryl once again sent the world into frenzy when she finally confirmed her pregnancy in a L’Oreal advert. Although, she didn’t verbally confirm it, the mum to be can be seen proudly holding her baby bump as she posed with 15 models including Helen Mirren in the picture. It’s been one of the best worst kept secrets in the world of celebrity, and despite boldly showing off her baby bump, Cheryl’s yet to comment on her pregnancy. That is until now! At the end of March, Cheryl took to Instagram to announce that she and Liam Payne had become parents. Posting a photo of Liam cradling a baby with dark hair, she captioned it: “On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever.” Proud new father Liam also shared the same photo with his Instagram followers. The couple were keen to keep their pregnancy under wraps so we expect that any future baby news will also be kept out of the limelight and can understand why, as Cheryl’s been in the news for 15 years! In 2002, she rose to fame after winning a place in girl group Girls Aloud after taking part in ITV’s Popstars: the Rivals TV programme. Cheryl then began a solo career, becoming the first British female artist to have five number ones in the UK. The 33-year old then cemented a television career, became a fashion icon and a brand ambassador. Often referred to as a fashionista by the press, Cheryl has been photographed for the covers of British Vogue, Elle and Harpers Bazaar. We wish Cheryl the best of luck with motherhood! n Image Credit - Denis Makarenko / Shutterstock.com Image Credit - Andrea Raffin / Shutterstock.com
